The tropical depression was  formed May 28,and is not likely to form into a tropical storm.

Last year, the state of Florida was ravaged by several hurricanes in a row -- Hurricane Frances, Hurricane Charley, Hurricane Ivan, and Hurricane Jeanne. Thousands of families and businesses were impacted by these storms and most were ill-prepared for the situation they faced. That's how this website was born.

Although my family was lucky enough to escape harm and only suffered the inconvenience of a week without electricity (no walk in the park!), we want to be prepared for the 2005 Hurricane Season which experts say is going to be another tough one.

National Hurricane Center is one of most comprehensive websites on hurricanes.

Remember, the 2009 Hurricane Season begins on June 1, 2009. Will you be ready?

The 2009 Hurricane Seasons officially ends November 30,2009

Expect about 9-14 Hurricanes with 2 to 3 major hurricanes

My Hurricane Center will bring you tips, tools, and resources so you can prepare your family and business for a hurricane.
